Technical Project Manager

Role description:

The tasks of the Project Manager will consist of:

  • Follow-up of the schedule of the hours of all team members
  • Budget tracking
  • Creating a development process with the technical team
  • Creation and monitoring of the production pipeline
  • Management and follow-up of the tasks of the members of the team
  • Lead meetings and write follow-up reports

Studies:

  • MBA or equivalent studies

Professional experiences:

  • The ideal candidate must have 3 years or more of practical experience with technology projects.

The required tasks of the writer will consist of:

  • Support for research and classification of information;
  • Creation of a writing process with the technical team;
  • Identify the key elements of the tool and make a vulgarized description;
  • Simplify the visual formulation of mathematical or technical concepts
  • Structure and writing of a final report for validation of scholarships and publications.

Studies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in literature or bachelor’s degree in translation or equivalent studies
  • Other technology training an asset

Role description:

Senior programmers will be consultants on this first phase of conceptualization for the development of a technical tool for the integration of artificial intelligence systems for video games. The tool will be used to collect and analyze player data to derive decision-making methods for bots, which are intended for entertainment purposes.

The tasks of senior consultant programmers will consist of:

  • Contribute to the technical planning for the tool
  • Elaborate Hypothesis on the tools architecture and machine learning needs
  • Validate the structure of the different components of the tool
  • Elaborate a Proof of Concept with the team
  • Advise the game designer in his technical decisions
  • Advise the technical writer in her technical documentation
  • Answering questions from other team members, related to their expertise

Research Student

Role description:

The student researcher will research and document, under the supervision of a technical writer and a game designer, the development of a technical tool for the integration of artificial intelligence systems for video games. The tool will be used to collect and analyze player data to derive decision-making methods for bots, which are intended for entertainment purposes.

The tasks of the student-researcher will consist of:

  • Adapt the flow of the tool
  • Validate the structure of the different components of the tool
  • Identify different development processes for each component
  • Identify and classify strengths and weaknesses for each component
  • Write a report describing the tool as a whole
  • Write an action plan for prototyping and developing the tool
  • Support other trades in their project tasks

Studies:

  • Master’s degree or doctorate in progress
  • Bac in programming or software engineering
  • Certification in Machine Learning an asset

  • Experience in architecture or development of video game tools is an asset.
